We are happy to announce that registration for the micro-credential learning program Anthropocene: The Contemporary World in a Transdisciplinary Perspective is now open!
The micro-credential Anthropocene will teach you how to effectively study and interpret the contemporary world in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary way.
You will learn:
- How to effectively study and interpret the contemporary world in an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary way;
- How to go beyond the boundaries of one’s own expertise and communicate across disciplines;
- How to respond to the complicated – ecological, social, and identitarian – challenges of today.
For detailed information about the micro-credential Anthropocene, visit our website. We are currently working on this year program, to give you an idea of what to look for, you can check the program draft. The course is held in English.
How to proceed? Please prepare a short motivation letter describing why you are interested in the topic and why you are applying for the micro-credential course, and a bio note (short CV) with basic information about your professional background or work specialisation. Include if and why you are applying for a reduced tuition fee; total maximum 2 standard pages.
Registration must be done in the Charles University Information System. Already a student of Charles University? Please use your student credentials to log in to the system (CAS Login). All others must start with “Registration of new applicants” to register their email address first.
The registration deadline is 19 April 2026.
